How can I look for the exact String in location argument

Hi,

Requesting to https://www.mapquestapi.com/geocoding/v1/address?thumbMaps=false&maxResu......
where I'm looking for "Mesa" which is in Arizona I am getting results for "Mèze" which is in France, I can't seem to find anything argument in documentation to search for the exact string.

Is there a way to do this without having to look for "location=mesa+arizona" ?

Thanks!

Normally the quality code
Normally the quality code will indicate an exact (A), close (B), or wild guess (C) match type. But in this case, Mesa is an alternate spelling for Meze so it is also returning an exact match quality code (A5XAX). There is not parameter to only return exact matches. And since Mesa is such a common place name, several are returned. Meze has a slightly higher importance rating (based on population, popularity, etc) so it is returned first in the list of ambiguous results.   The geocoder is performing as expected in this case.
