How to show traffic in a custom route on map?

I am showing a route on mapquest map view between two points using the service "https://www.mapquestapi.com/directions/v2/alternateroutes?". How can I show traffic details in my route? I have enabled the property "trafficEnabled" , of mapquest map view to YES and hence I am able to see the traffic in map view. But if my route overlaps the traffic, then  traffic annotation is not shown,it gets hidden under the route.

My requirement is that I want to add traffic details in the route only. How can I do it?

This is not part of the iOS
This is not part of the iOS sdk yet. The traffic shows all available traffic in the viewable map and the route highlight overlays the traffic. Traffic data to color the route highlight is not currently available.

Latest version MapQuest app has this feature available

Thank you for your quick response.

In the latest version of MapQuest app, the route is also showing the traffic details. Some parts of route, in which traffic is dense, are shown in yellow or red color based on how dense the traffic is.

If this is achievable in some way or if there is any update on this, please let me know.

Thanks

How to show traffic annnotation above custom route annotation?

Is there any possibility for showing traffic  above any custom route annotation?

This is not an option at this
This is not an option at this time but I can forward this on to the team as an enhancement request.
