Leaflet Attribution Control layout problem

I am migrating a Leaflet implementation from direct tile access to using your API.  My application makes use of the Layers Control, placed at bottom right of the map, and currently the attributions I set appear below the Layers Control.

On introducing the MQ leaflet plugin, it is inserting an attribution but it is being placed such that it sits above the top edge of the Layers Control, which looks messy. Screen shot available

Is there a recommended procedure for adjusting the location of this attribution?

The MQ leaflet plugin is inserting the small "mapquest" logo correctly at bottom left of the map.

I can't get my layers control
I can't get my layers control to act badly with my attribution control. Can you post a sample where we can see it happening live?

Example

Hi

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry it has taken me a little while to get back to you.

You can see an example of this issue on this site: http://629wardsopenspacemap.org.uk/

Switch to the "Urban" or "Satellite" maps to see the placement issue.

thanks

Steve
