Querying by bestfit doesn't return the exact polygon

A simple request by bestfit, doesn't return an image with those boundaries. It has some margin.

Is there any way to get the response boundaries? Is there any metadata or something?

Since the maps are made of
Since the maps are made of tiles and only use a very limited range of zoom levels, the bestfit function makes sure the given bounds are visible at the highest zoom level. It does not set those exact bounds. You could use overlays to block out the unintended resulting buffer if necessary.

Get the real boundaries

Hi MQBrianCoakley,

I don't mind overlapping the rest of the image, but do you know how to know the real boundaries of the response map? I have no idea how to get it.

Thanks

This function is available
This function is available for the interactive maps, but meta-data like zoom, bounds, center, etc, is not available from the static map api. It simply provides a static map image.
