State names in Manueveuers

Hi

In routing, does the route response return the state name for each manueveur in the response, If not, is there a means of doing it?

Thanks and Regards

Anjali

Hi Anjali,
Hi Anjali,   Yes, there is a streets node in each maneuver with a list of streets in that maneuver. It's usually a single street, but can be empty (like highway exit/entrances) or multiple (alternate highway designations) in some cases.

Thank you. This helps for street.

Can you please let me know if mapquest returns the state of a manuever? If no, are there any alternate ways of finding it.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Anjali,
Hi Anjali,   Setting the stateBoundaryDisplay parameter to true means the state boundary crossings will be displayed in the maneuver narrative, but there is no method to add the state to each maneuver. The state of the origin can be found in the geocode result portion of the route response, assuming the origin is a string address or doReverseGeocode is not set to false. Then you could parse the narrative for something like "crossing into" to find the state of the next maneuver.
